WTAPS X Magical Design Belt Buckle

Working together with Mr. Uchiyama from Japanese accessories specialists Magical Design, WTAPS revealed a piece from next seasons collection. Consisting of silver and brass, the buckle definitely looks top notch with intricate design and a skull motif. There will be a few other variations of the piece coming in a wing and eagle version with different coloring. Stay tuned for further info on this collaborative effort.

Neighborhood X Visvim Mowat

Neighborhood and Visvim both represent a different segment in Japanese fashion. On one hand, Neighborhood is all about the rockabilly biker style while on the other hand, Visvim’s style is influenced by the natural surroundings around us. As two contradicting forces collide, we are left with this newly released Neighborhood x Visvim Mowat Moccasin. The black colorway of this Mowat Moccasin gives the shoe a heavy duty look which contradicts the natural mentality of Visvim.

WTAPS 2008 Spring “Extreme Prejudice” Collection

Coinciding with the launch of their brand new website, WTAPS has provided a look at their 2008 collection titled “Extreme Prejudice”. A few pieces to highlight for the new collection include a collaborative helmet with good friend NUTS which will be available exclusively at Blackflag Tokyo, Tiger camo M-65 and vest, John Smedly x WTAPS sweater and a Gore-Tex Sherpa jacket.

WTAPS x Wolf’s Head Key Holder

The latest to drop from WTAPS Spring ’08 collection is this collaboration key holder with Mamoru Takashi’s jewelry brand, Wolf’s Head. This handmade piece will feature gems intricately placed on the outer side while the inner side will have Wolf’s Head, WTAPS and Blackflag branding.

AFFA x Visvim Serra Alpine

AFFA label which is also known as “Anarchy Forever Forever Anarchy” is a brand created by two heavyweights in the Japanese fashion industry, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Jun Takahashi. They have just collaborated with Visvim to produce a new pair of Serra Alpine. This Serra Alpine comes in three colorways, beige, ice grey and black.

Visvim Serra Talkeetna

A glimpse of Visvim’s extensive range of footwear finds a wide variety of different styles. Among the latest release from Visvim is the Serra Talkeenta hiking boot. Visvim has re-worked and perfected piece of the traditional hiking boots. PVC heel cup, drastically reduced weight and improved cushioning are among the revamped characteristics. Three colorways are available, black, sand and brown.

Philosophy Zine Vol. 4

The latest issue of the free magazine Philosophy Zine is set to hit its usual distribution spots next week. The Japanese lifestyle magazine is only available in select places worldwide, such as Neighborhood and W)Taps stores. Volume 4 will mark the 5th issue (first issue was Vol. 0) and potentially the final publication of this popular free magazine. Available starting September 11th.

Neighborhood 2007 Fall/Winter Preview

Neighborhood recently presented their upcoming 2007 Fall/Winter collection in the September issue of Cool Trans magazine. In addition to the new jackets, shirts, belts and luggage pieces are two pair of new denim called ‘Black Icon’ and ‘Scab Savage’. Like previous seasons, Neighborhood sticks to its underground/biker style which they are known for.

Neighborhood “Ace of Spades” S/S 2007 Collection

The latest from NBHD’s spring/summer 2007 collection have been released including a wide variety of collared button-up’s shirts and shorts. The shirts feature a dizzying array of different patterns and designs. Each shirt features a more fitted cut to keep things more streamlined. The shorts seen are a bit easier to choose from with mostly solid colors. NBHD are also releasing a special t-shirt in conjunction with Boon Magazine.

Visvim x Neighborhood 7-Hole Boot

After much anticipation, Visvim’s 7 hole boot collaborative effort with Neighborhood that has spanned 2 years has finally released. This boot has all the makings of a potential classic when dealing with Visvim and Neighborhood. Neighborhood branding can be seen on the tongue as well as the back heel. The classic NBHD-esque Jolly Roger is seen on the rear as well. Although many won’t buy these for it’s intended purpose as a work boot, rest assured should the occasion ever arise you will get the job done.

Visvim x G1950 Serra Boot

Visvim and fellow countrymen design brand G1950 have come together again to produce this footwear collaboration. Their previous partnership involved Visvim’s Ballistic Textile K pack. The pictures reveal three different colorways of this vintage inspired Serra hiking boot. The pattern seen on the back panels of the boots are based off of patterns created by Danish designer Gunnar Aagaard Andersen.

W)TAPS 2007 Spring / Summer Collection

W)Taps will be releasing its 2007 Spring/Summer line in Japan this upcoming Saturday, March 24th. “No Guts, No Glory”, as the collection is labeled, the clothes take on styling cues from Neighborhood and liven up the skull motif with a selection of loud and cheerful colors, just in time for the spring season to arrive.

Neighborhood “Ace of Spades” S/S 2007

A preview of the Ace of Spades Spring/Summer collection by Neighborhood from Cool Trans Magazine. Here we have some more images from the “Ace of Spades” range from the Neighborhood Mag vol.4. Some of the items in this preview include a new polka-dot jacket, a black blazer, a few short sleeve shirts, khaki shorts, denim shorts, a few long sleeves, and some denim pants. For the Ace of Spades collection, Neighborhood is mixing their signature dark colors with some of the light colors from the Spring and Summer weather.

Neighborhood x Men’s Non-No Collaboration Tee

Japanese magazine Men’s Non-No has worked with Neighborhood to produce a set of T-shirts in both black and white that will be releasing on March 9th and the T-shirts are featured in the upcoming issue of Men’s Non-No. The Neighborhood store is also going through renovations and will re-open on February 24th, so hopefully they will have their highly anticipated new collection for sale after they re-open.

New Visvim Footwear – White Collection

For their up coming footwear range, Visvim will release their White Collection series. The White collection will consist of the Visvim Hobo in embossed white leather, the Skynyrd Moccasin, and the Visvim Serra Boot. All shoes are almost entirely in all white except for some metal eyelets and buckles on the Serra and Skynyrd models.
